Are you considering therapy to deepen your understanding of yourself, your relationships, and/or your place in the world? Perhaps you're facing experiences that have left you feeling stagnant or uncertain about what lies ahead. People seek counselling for various reasons, and here, the focus is on your unique journey. Whether it's navigating a life event, addressing past trauma, managing mental health challenges, or embarking on a journey of self-discovery.
About me and my practice
Life is full of thoughts we're unsure how to handle. Sometimes, we push them aside, only to realise they hold the answers to our distress.
In our sessions, it's not about fitting into a predetermined mould; it's about you leading the way. You're the expert on your life; I'm here to provide the professional support you need to explore your thoughts and emotions, unveiling unexpected facets that lead to a deeper understanding of the triggers behind your challenges. The counselling space is inclusive and provides explorative options, acknowledging the diverse case of individuals encompassing lived experiences of different races, sexual orientations, and neurodiversity and more.
Imagine trying to solve a complex puzzle. Each piece represents a different aspect of your life and experiences. A pluralistic approach to counselling is like having a variety of tools at your disposal to tackle that puzzle. Just as using different tools can help you find the right fit for each piece of the puzzle, a pluralistic approach allows me to tailor the method to fit each individual unique need, preferences, and circumstances, ultimately leading to a more inclusive and effective therapeutic experience. It's common for clients to uncover unexpected insights, leading us to identify the underlying triggers behind the challenges you're facing. Amidst the chaos of daily life, our thoughts often get lost. Here, you have a safe space for self-discovery, a chance to navigate your feelings with the empathy and support you deserve. What sets this space apart is its commitment to inclusivity a space that acknowledges and welcomes diverse needs, embracing all neurodiversity and equality considerations. Working with young people and understanding their needs and challenges has provided me with a great insight on how parents can support their children and manage their own wellbeing during times that can be very challenging whilst trying to navigate life.
